The LD 8142 is a compact surface-mounted luminaire designed for use in furniture and interior design. It has been developed for applications where light needs to be precisely directed and reliably available – either with integrated switching and dimming functions or as a simple luminaire without any control elements.
Compact surface-mounted light
The LD 8142 is designed as a slim-profile surface-mounted luminaire and is suitable for use in furniture, shelving and functional areas. Its minimalist design allows for discreet installation without visually dominating the room or the furniture.
Optional switching and dimming function
The version with an integrated switch allows the light to be switched on and off directly, as well as dimmed using the memory function. The last selected brightness setting is saved and is available again the next time the light is switched on. Alternatively, the LD 8142 is also available without a switch and can be integrated into existing switching systems.
High-quality light
With a power output of 3 W and a colour temperature of 4000 K, the LD 8142 produces a clear, neutral white light. The high colour rendering index ensures that surfaces and materials are rendered naturally within the immediate working and usage area.
Seamless integration
The brushed aluminium housing is available in matt black or aluminium and blends seamlessly into a variety of furniture and interior design schemes. The 24 V version, featuring an ESP plug-in system and a 2 m connection cable, ensures a neat and reliable installation.

The LD 8142 offers a straightforward lighting solution with a clear purpose. Whether with integrated controls or as a minimalist luminaire without a switch, it is ideal for applications where reliability, light quality and seamless integration are paramount.
