At this year’s SICAM in Pordenone, Italy (14–17 October), ELEKTRA will be demonstrating how functional technology and elegant design can be combined. At Stand C4 in Hall 9, the focus will be on LED lighting systems that enhance furniture and kitchens whilst being easy to install.

Back in 2024, ELEKTRA introduced the LD8177, a solution for niche lighting that can be flexibly combined with shelves and brackets. The slender profile creates uniform, glare-free light and, thanks to its 16 mm grid, fits seamlessly into standard furniture dimensions. Installation takes just a few steps, and the continuous profile significantly reduces the amount of material required.

At SICAM, ELEKTRA is presenting a further development of this system. The LD8176 can be fitted directly into panels as a harpoon-style profile without the need to cut into the back panel. This opens up another way of integrating atmospheric ambient lighting into furniture. Thanks to the flexible profile, the solution is suitable for panels of various thicknesses.

A second inspiration for a new, delicate lighting solution emerged at Interzum in May: there, a 6 mm rod-shaped concept light caught the attention of visitors. This has now led to a further design approach in which the light rods are displayed within a piece of lighting furniture, creating focal points in the kitchen and living room.
